Question What do you use to Chat with your Alliances members

Daedalus, move me if I have placed this in the wrong area.

Although not Specifically Grepolis, Chat does directly support Grepolis.
Note: The game CHAT is fixed size, overlays 25% of the screen and is sometimes buggy. Does not alarm you when someone types (you have to keep checking)

    Must be free

    Any recommendations
    - What do you experienced Alliance's use to do Text chat with you members.

    Thanks

I've found Skype to be the most common, though I have heard of others. You can find a link to get Skype through the above link.

It would be nice if they fixed the chat system.
Implement an "Alliance Chat" and an "Global Chat"
Make the Global Chat and the Alliance Chat in one Chat system.
Implement a Pop sound when some one says something in Alliance Chat whether it's open or not being looked at. Make a Pop sound when Global is open, and no sound if it's not open and being looked at.
Give it the option to have only the Alliance Chat open or the Global Chat open.

Set filters on the chat system to the rules and policies to the game.

    That would be nice

chatzy is a good alternative if you end up in a stubborn alliance who refuse to download skype for whatever reason (madness I say). It is possible for an alliance to be successful without a 3rd party chat system.

Krypteia (Victor of .en Tau) went half the server without skype until a founder change mid-sever after the old one left.

ONE* in Delphi only uses the ingame chat and forums, and are looking set to winning that world on .en

Sometimes we use Skype and sometime we use the game chat.

Excellent suggestions... I sure hope programming can get in-game chat enhanced with more features. We all could really use it.
